What is a Credit Union?

Park Road Community Credit Union is a non-profit making financial co-operative, owned and controlled by its members. It is from the pooled savings of the members that we offer low interest loans to each other.

How to Become a Credit Union Member

If you live or work in the area of Liverpool 1, Liverpool 8 (from Princes Road down to the river) or Liverpool 17 you are entitled to apply for membership of Park Road Community Credit Union Ltd.

Anyone applying for membership of the credit union must supply us with proof of Identity and address.

Acceptable proof of identity is a passport, driving licence, bus pass or a recent utility bill with your current address on. You will also need your national insurance number.

If you have difficulty in supplying any of these details then contact us and we can agree an alternative that proves your identity and informs the credit union how it can contact you.
