COOKERY CLASSES We welcome all of the community to join our Cookery Classes. The cookery class consists of one person cooking a dish they like to cook. The cook then explains to the rest of the class the recipe, and how to cook the dish. Cookery class is not just a place to learn how to cook it’s also a chance to get together and socialize with others. Cookery classes take place on Thursday afternoons from 1pm in the John Archer Hall, Upper Hill Street. (Old Windsor Street School.) ELDERS CLUB We are currently waiting for replies on funding applications regarding the elders club. KEEP FIT CLASSES Keep fit classes take place on Wednesdays between 6-7pm in the John Archer Hall. There are still places left. COMPUTER CLUB RNC are in the process of setting up a Computer Club at the John Archer Hall. The computer club will be open to the community to come and use the internet and computer facilities. RNC are also looking for a tutor to run the computer club. If you are interested in doing this please contact the office 0151 708 0903. The computer club will begin in September. Your Councillors Your three ward councillors hold a weekly surgery every Saturday between 10am-12pm.The councillors will try their best to help solve any issues residents have. The surgery takes place at the unit on Alexander Terrace, Princes Avenue (2 doors down from the Law Centre.) PLAY SCHEME As of lack of funding we are not sure what dates the play scheme will run. We also need three volunteers to help run the play scheme. If anyone is interested they need to contact the office so they can go through the appropriate procedures.
